Take Route 8A South (just west of the center of town). Cross the river and railroad tracks; then leave Route 8A to turn left on River Road. Take your first right turn (very soon!) onto East Hawley Road. Follow this road up 5 miles--it's a dramatic climb, with a great hairpin turn at one point--until you see the Meeting House on your right.
From Route 112 in Buckland:
Take Clesson Brook Road west (it only goes one way!) uphill for a little over 5 miles. During your journey it will change its name to Buckland Road. This road will eventually dead-end into East Hawley Road right in front of the Meeting House (it looks like an old church--and it is!).
NOTE: BE SURE TO IGNORE ANY GPS SYSTEMS THAT SEND YOU THROUGH THE HAWLEY STATE FOREST (on Hunt Road, for example). The roads in the forest are no longer operable.
